Enrolling in University can be daunting, whether you are a first year student or have transferred.
Each university runs a week of ‘Orientation’ before the beginning of the academic year where new students are introduced to the life of the university and its campus. The university chaplaincies support the Catholic society on each campus in participating in O-Week.
While sharing many common features each campus is unique and each Catholic society is similarly unique.
To find out about what is being offered at O-Week find the Catholic Society stall at your University O-Week or
contact the chaplaincy there.
You will be invited to the many social, spiritual and sporting events that are on offer every year and your university experience won’t be dull!
There is often also a ‘Re-Orientation’ week or day at the beginning of the second semester and it is very similar to O-Week. If you are enrolling mid-year, it is an excellent way to find the Catholic society and sign up.
