University Catholics are excited to host this event with international guest speaker Fr Carter Griffin from the U.S. who will be speaking on the topic of priesthood, celibacy and how we can support our priests in living out their spiritual fatherhood.
Father Carter Griffin is a priest of the Archdiocese of Washington, DC. a convert to Catholicism from the Presbyterian church, and a graduate of Princeton University. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2004 and was appointed Director of Priest Vocations for the Archdiocese of Washington and Vice-Rector of St. John Paul II Seminary, where he now serves as Rector. He is the author of the book Why Celibacy: Reclaiming the Fatherhood of the Priest.
